Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026. Operational draft for legal review before public launch.
Our principles
Muzakarah collects only the data it needs, limits access by purpose, and separates account records from public scholarly records where appropriate.
Account data
A basic account uses an email address, display name, country, language preference and session-security data. Reading public content does not require an account.
Identity verification
Government documents are not required for ordinary readers. Certain roles may require evidence with explicit consent, restricted access, private storage and a deletion schedule.
How data is used
Data is used to provide accounts, saved records, contributions, reviews, security, fraud prevention and service communications. Identity documents are not used for advertising.
Lawful disclosure
Information may be disclosed only when permitted or required by law and after an appropriate internal process. Ordinary content disputes are not automatically reported to authorities.
User rights
Users may correct their profile, export certain data, withdraw relevant consent and request account deletion. Valid scholarly records may be retained separately under an explained archival basis.
Contact
Privacy enquiries can be submitted through the Contact page. Official officer and operating-address details will be added before public launch.
